What's the plan Jan?

So what is the plan for the trip?  Lots of people have asked.  It's not set in stone, but we think we have the summer laid out.

Becca wants to see CARHENGE (www.carhenge.com), so we will travel I 80 in mid June to Alliance, Nebraska as a kickoff.  From there we'll visit Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Deadwood, Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Salt Lake City, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Route 66, Flagstaff, a crater, Painted Desert, Albuquerque, Denver, Kansas City, the Benedictine Abbey in Clyde, MO, St. Louis, and back home in time for the beginning of August.

We'll make a shorter loop through Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana in August.

We'll explore Washington DC and NYC in September.

We are a little more sketchy after, but more on that later.

I hope it's easy to sign in and see this blog.  I chose to have it open only to people who are "invited"- to keep us safe on our travels.  Let me know if I have forgotten anyone or I may not know their email to invite them.
