Unlike the Mets (Bob's team) or the Cubs (Bobby's team), the Nationals and the Orioles are still in the hunt for the playoffs and beyond.
We sat in the front row of right field with Cubs fans around us. These were Nationals fans with Cubs roots. They couldn't lose. They could show their Cubs colors while confident that their Nationals would win. We saw the Nationals take batting practice off of the Cubs pitcher. The atmosphere was perfect for Becca to make friends and for Bobby to enjoy the experience.
Bob's loves the Nationals' mascot race. No ketchup, mustard, and relish here- Our nation's capital features racing Presidents!

We visited many stadiums (stadia?) on this trip. Camden Yards in Baltimore had by far the most electric atmosphere. It was loud and fun and packed! They gave up 7 runs to the Yankees by the 3rd inning, but the crowd believed their Orioles would come back up until the last out. It was easy to get swept up in the enthusiasm!

Bob's brother, Thom, and sister, Ann (Bate), met us at the game- such a fun reunion!

A fun time was had by all- some more than others.......
