Kiwanas Medieval Faire v. 59

We love fests and faires and home days and fetes.  We also really enjoy helping out a good cause.  This weekend, we combined the two, and volunteered some time at the Riverdale Kiwanas Medieval Faire in Ft. Myers.  We took tickets on Saturday, and we liked it so much we came back on Sunday and worked some more.   Becca helped run a game and was so happy to be around kids close to her age,  she didn't mind the bees at all as she took another shift pouring Pepsi and Sierra Mist.  And on Saturday, we made the 94.5 "The Arrow" facebook page!  Woo Hoo...

We played some games and watched some shows.  We were pretty surprised that one of the games was knife, ax (hatchet), and Chinese star throwing- at targets of course, and with sharp things.  I'm surprised they haven't lost their insurance :).  Bec did lots of archery since there was a $20 prize for a bullseye.  Alas, no prize for her...

On day 2 we saw more shows and played more games, and ate "Faire Food"!
