Grand Teton National Park. Awe inspiring. Breathtaking. So beautiful the mountains look fake. Very different from Yellowstone, and right next door. We took down the bikes for this park, as they have a great paved path dedicated to bikers and walkers. Great for the recreational biker not willing to risk his life.

Bob and Becca decided to swim in the warmest lake there- String Lake- about 55 degrees. It was several hours before they got all the feeling back in their hands and feet!

| Kayaking with Becca on Jenny Lake
|
I stayed a little dryer and warmer while kayaking with Becca on the most visited- Jenny Lake. We rented kayaks right there at the marina. We played a throw your flip flop and see who gets it first game that Bec made up, stopped at a few little beaches, at a submerged tree, and in a deep section for her to have a swim. At the furthest point from the marina, Becca thought she might be too tired to get back on her own...hmmm. I gave her a shove for a head start and raced her back. She, of course, got back first. A little competitive are we?
We went to the Jackson Hole Rodeo that night. Becca kept asking me why I was making "that face"? I didn't know I was grimacing, but:
-For the bull riding, "that face" meant, "OMG! OUCH! My body could never survive that trauma!"
-For the mini bull riding, it meant, "OMG! I can't believe they are letting 9 year olds do this! They won't be able to walk when they're 20!"
-For the sheep riding, it meant, "OMG! That kid is 5! It's like the little girl beauty pageant thing for cowboys!"
Becca loved every minute of it though. Got a pink cowboy hat.
On to Bryce Canyon!
